Carlisle Aeromodelers is located in Carlisle, PA, West of Harrisburg, PA. Carlisle Aeromodelers is an Academy of Model Aeronautics
(AMA) chartered club. Our RC club airfield, Bear Airfield is near Bloserville, PA. We are a "fly for fun" RC club with activities including
picnics, air shows and a hand launched sailplane event.
Carlisle Aeromodelers co-sponsors the CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA AEROMODELERS ASSOCIATION (CPAA) Flea Market held each
year in Lebanon, PA. The CPAA Flea Market has kept our dues low and made possible many airfield improvement. Check out the CPAA
website and the Aeromodelers CPAA Page for details. Bear Airfield has both hard and grass runways plus a pavilion, setup tables,
equipment shed, sanitary facilities, and plenty of space.
The club members are always ready to assist new members with flying lessons, additional flight instruction, or any special area they
need help in. Our membership includes talent in a wide spectrum of skills. We have a flight program working with young people.
